Deutsche Bahn travels directly to Husum intercity railway station. There you change to the regional train that connects Husum with St. Peter-Ording. The town of St. Peter-Ording has two stops, the last of which is "Bad St. Peter-Ording". As the stop is a dead-end station, you can travel comfortably to the terminus. From St. Peter-Bad station it is approx. 2 kilometres to Zweite Heimat. Taxis are available at the station. You can also take the local bus from here to the Utholm bus stop, which is directly opposite the hotel.

Do you need help with your luggage? Deutsche Bahn offers a luggage transport service for your journey. Your suitcases will be collected from your front door and delivered directly to the hotel. As soon as you arrive in St. Peter-Ording, your suitcases will be waiting for you in the room you have booked.

From Hamburg, take the A 23 motorway in the direction of Husum. From Heide, the A23 becomes the B5 (beware - this often results in quite expensive holiday photos) - follow this road to Tönning. In Tönning, change to the B202, which leads to St. Peter-Ording.
ZWEITEN HEIMAT is located in the Ording district, directly at the crossing to the beach.
We would be delighted if you travelled emission-free by electric car. You will find charging facilities in every parking space (also in the underground car park). Billing is simple, fair and uncomplicated and is done directly with our partner WIRELANE. The best way to explore St. Peter-Ording is by bike. You will find bike hire shops in the immediate neighbourhood. Equipped with the right bike map and good tips from our staff, nothing stands in the way of a perfect day at the beach. Please feel free to contact us.
If you have caught a rainy day, you can use the local bus free of charge with your guest card for St. Peter-Ording. This connects all four districts and will take you to your favourite place in comfort. If you don't have a guest card, you can buy a day ticket directly on the bus.
