Check-in
You can move into your room from 3 pm. If you arrive earlier, we will of course collect your luggage, welcome you to our Esszimmer and Pesel restaurants or give you our insider tips for beautiful walks on the beach.
Check-out
Our check-out is until 11:00 am. If you would like to spend the rest of the day in St. Peter-Ording, by the water or dreaming among the dunes, we will of course take care of your luggage.

Late check-out is possible on request (€) and subject to availability. Please contact us on 04863 47489-0 or by e-mail.
Breakfast
You can enjoy our rich breakfast buffet daily from 7.30 am to 11.00 am in the Esszimmer restaurant or on the covered sun terrace.
SPA
Our Land SPA and Strand SPA are open daily until 21:00, in case of bad weather from 13:00 at the latest. Here you will find plenty of opportunities to relax on a total of around 500 m²: Sweating in the sauna, soothing massages or recreationists in one of our versatile relaxation zones. We also offer various wellness treatments in our Strand SPA. Feel free to contact us at reception to book your own personal time-out.
Of course, the use of our SPA areas is included in the room rate - as are sauna towels and bathrobes for hire.
Restaurant DAS ESSZIMMER
We welcome you daily from 18:00 to 21:30 in our ESSZIMMER restaurant.
Restaurant DER PESEL
In our restaurant PESEL we welcome you daily from 13:00 to 21:30. Here you will find a rustic and lovingly designed parlour with Frisian cuisine without any frills.
Day ticket
For small and large appetites, you can choose from a variety of dishes in our PESEL restaurant every day from 13:00 to 21:30.
Parking facilities
We have sufficient parking spaces available for our hotel guests. However, we CANNOT accept reservations for parking spaces. One parking space per room is free of charge.
We are happy if you arrive emission-free by electric car. You will find charging facilities in every parking space (also in the underground car park). Billing is simple, fair and uncomplicated and is done directly with our partner WIRELANE. If you want/need to charge on the road in town, you can find an overview of all charging stations on the Eiderstedt peninsula here.
Reception
We are there for you around the clock at our reception. Please note: Payments are only possible between 7:00 and 21:00.
All about the dog
Four-legged guests are very welcome. For €28 per night you can bring ONE dog per room. Please let us know before you arrive - then we can prepare a dog package including food bowl and dog blanket. There is also a dog washing station at the entrance to the Am Deich - so we can get rid of those sandy feet. You will find dog toys and towels in our vestibule. Around the child
Children aged 0 to 4 years stay free of charge, from 5 to 12 years there is a surcharge of €50 per night and from 13 years €80 per night. Please note that we can only provide extra beds in certain room categories. Please contact us to find out which extra beds are possible - we will be happy to help.
We have a changing table available for you in the basement.
For little beach pirates and mermaids, beach toys are available at the entrance to the dyke. There is a small play corner in the restaurant.
Bicycles
The best way to explore St. Peter-Ording and the surrounding area is by bike. You can hire bikes and e-bikes directly from us. If we have lent out all our bikes, the Cruiser King at the Beachmotel is guaranteed to have another bike for you. Equipped with the right bike map and good tips from our staff, nothing stands in the way of the perfect day - just ask us.
If you bring your own bike, our bike shed (locked at night) with charging sockets is open for you.
Payment options
You can pay in cash or conveniently by EC card, Visa, Mastercard or Amex.
Barrier-free
The premises of ZWEITEN HEIMAT are generally barrier-free. Our hotel has a lift and a barrier-free WC in the basement.
Please note, however, that the Zweite Heimat is not wheelchair accessible, as you cannot move freely with a wheelchair in most room categories. The Esszimmer restaurant is partially accessible with a wheelchair. Please let us know about your handicap so that we can find a suitable solution.

You can hire beach wheelchairs from the tourist information centre for €13.00 - €25.00 per day.
Cancellation conditions
So that you can remain as flexible as possible when planning your holiday, we offer special cancellation conditions at Zweite Heimat: With us, you can cancel your holiday free of charge up to 15 days before your arrival. Only if you cancel 14 days or more before your arrival date will we charge 80% of the room price or package price.
